Matic Media have invested heavily in the latest technology over the years to keep our clients at the pinnacle of digital printing.

Our latest investment, a Zund G3XL 1600 digital cutter, now allows our clients to design and build fantastic new exhibition displays, packaging and point of sale graphics that wouldn’t be possible without the new machine.

The cutter allows us to print and cut onto honeycomb board can be cut and routed to shape using the new Zund’s osculating knifes and router heads. The new material also ticks all of the boxes for recycling and meets the green credentials which are so important to our clients.

Edinburgh City Council’s design department took up the challenge to create and build a striking array of bespoke, free standing exhibition units for their Pride in Our People Awards at the recently refurbished Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC).

“We were challenged with delivering a staff event for (1500 management staff)
in an extremely short timeframe. Matic media's production methods allowed
for print and construction to be done in a fraction of the time usually
taken without having to compromise on the look of the end product. The fact
that they able to produce this on a material that is recyclable and
biodegradable were  key factors in our choice to use this product . We would
definitely use Matic media again and look forward to the opportunity to
fully explore the capabilities of the Zund G3XL 1600 digital cutter"

The exhibition displays have been very well received and now take pride of place in the corridors of Edinburgh City Councils Head Quarters.
