Our Active Learning Floor and Wall Stickers have been developed to support the teaching of Literacy, Numeracy, Health and Wellbeing through indoor movement.

In North America this has become popular through #SensoryPathways to support children with Autism but our packs encourage cross-curricular learning for all through inclusive movement around a school by implementing interactive floor designs using self-adhesive stickers that even the children can implement the layout and fit themselves!

The floor stickers are designed to be large enoough to create and impact but small enough to be easy to fit, many even by the children.

Programmes in North America (#Don’t Walk in the Hallway) have found that by encouraging active movement within school building, teachers have found that children can increase their movement by roughly 1000 steps per day!

When a child with a sensory processing disorder such as Autism is in a mainstream classroom they are processing all the things most others can tune out, simple things like sitting up straight, temperature, smells, others’ conversation. This may create levels of anxiety and subsequently they may require a “brain break” from the surrounding distractions.
